Here’s a couple shots from a pool from the good ol’ town of Dana Point. The story behind it was the kids parents left on a trip and never came back leaving the ultimate party pad.
Funny how the yard was full of trash, piles of cans, etc, but the pool was always clean and ready. Slab coping, but set back enought to grind. Here’s to a day with no rain and empty pools!
Saw this up on the Diestches O.M.S.A. site.
Many skated this pool from sun up to sun down, like an unofficial skatepark with zero rules. Driving past last weekend I couldn’t help but stare and see what was and hard to see what it is. I could feel the desire to roll out the generator and lights, open up a fresh road soda and take a warm up run. Many names came and went but Pala seemed to stick the most, the crow bowl, pal around, others simply went away. I wont regurgitate the history because if you know, you know, but it sure would be nice to take turns again in her.
