The joint meeting between the city council and the developers was ok. We had about 8 people show up for support of a skate park. After dropping flyers off at all the skate shops, telling everyone i could think of, and putting it on the net, only 8 people were able to make it. We have one more chance to get a skate park on the first phase of the la pata la hermosa project and that is this dec. 15. The city is willing to build an advanced park, with a cradle, possible pool, and a real street area off to the side to make everyone in town happy. The thought of reconstructing the san juan keyhole has crossed my mind and would be sick in the skate park.
