07-09-03 Sorry for the lack of updates lately everyone. I've been so busy getting ready for the premiere this weekend I haven't had time to do much on the web site. 06-21-03 So how many of you have had the sick thought of all the new pools to be had in the 250 plus burned homes in the Arizona fires? Not that I have, or anything. Well the official winner is of picture number 1 and second place was picture number 11!. New Links up on the links page. Some sad news for you guys in Ojai or anyone who rode the ojai pool. Its gone. R.I.P. Northwest Premiere. Hey guys, I know Laguna Niguel has opened, but let's try to not let Dana Point forget about their park. 4 months or maybe even longer they dropped it out of the meetings and nothing has happened. I was supposedly on a design council which consisted of like 8 or 9 kids. They were down for dreamland to come, bowls, whatever. The plot of land for it has an ocean view and constant sea breeze. Right now on the very same plot of land a pool resides. We have been digging on it for months now. Slowly but surely. It is a blue haven tear drop. Great trannies. It needs help. If you know where it is at, bring a shovel and see if it cant get finished quick. Maybe if you cant do that, call the Dana Point City Council to ask about the park. We need mad people to call to get this thing rolling. The city is open for a great park.Here's the number and email. It cant hurt if your just sitting at work to send an email.

Keep posted for new news about it. Tentative premiere date is looking at July 12, 2003. Camille from Narnack Records sent over a bunch of c.d.s for us to review in the music pool. Also up in the music pool is Josh Green's Turbo Negro fun. The upcoming soundtrack to hessian sessions should be so sick with songs by Star Strangled Bastards, The Faction, The Varukers, Poundaflesh, Smogtown and many others. A little late, check out this fact about Sadaam. Laguna hills is finally going to open. There will be an actual skate park to ride in the area. The deep end even has a little vert. 04-17-03 Music pool update by Ted. Sorry I've been lagging on the updates everyone. I've been hard at work finishing up Hessian Sessions. It should be done by this weekend. Ill have a trailor up by this weekend also. I'm pretty stoked on how well it has come out. 03-15-03 Word on Colin is that things look positive, but he is still in critical condition. On the flip side of things, It was a good thing that Dustin and the gang rushed him to the hospital and not have anything to do with pala. The pool will still be a go. I'm not much of a believer in God, or a set religion, but in this instance I will say a prayer for his well being. I'll put up some more updates after I go skate today.

03-14-03 Best wishes to Colin who cracked his head open pretty good last night at Pala. He's in icu right now so lets hope him the best. What up with Neil Heddings getting put in jail? How lame are social services? The pool gods kicked me down some pool pumps. Does anyone have any crappy hose lying around that would want to donate it to Broken Magazine. I need two hoses that are the same size as the ones you would use to vacuum out a pool if it had water in it. Email me if ya do.

01-26-03 Thank god I made it through the 2 days of asr hell. Highlights from the show include Tony Alva and Eric Ellington getting in a scruff which supposedly Eric got away and Tony got cuffed. Tons of pro ho's about and a cool autograph session with some of the Z-Boys. Too bad my camera is still broken otherwise I'd have a bunch of pictures from the show. 01-02-03 Well it's an official new year. Two month's till laguna niguel's park opens even though it's almost all poured. Pretty damn fun for sure. They should fix the street light by the big bowl. I wish it would have been like 10 feet deep, but oh well. Some new stuff today. My Sacrifice ad came out in the new concussion. Found a new D.O.D.C. project, only problem is we'd have to dig it out quick. Nice paddock kidney, good coping and no viable pool damage.Here's a cool beer sign. 12-21-02 Today is a tribute to the days of past. Thanks to 82 Drew for hooking me up with all the sick shots. Remember launch ramps? Here's some sick pics of Utah through the eyes of Drew. 12-20-02 Last night was very much an 80's day to say the least. On the way to work I spotted a crew draining a big pool down the street. On my way to go pick up my girlfriend from the airport I rolled by to take another look. I saw it was empty and not a soul around. I ran in and most of the plaster had been chipped away. Here are some pics of the Ole Hanson pool session. The rain is coming so I know when I wake up I will update a bunch on here so stay tuned!!!! Reader's Submissions page has some new updates. Oh yeah, I always forget, but hears my protest to MTV. Fuck them for putting the crow bowl on t.v. and not even showing sick pool skating. What happened to Headbangers Ball? 12-19-02 Well skated a few pools today and drove alot more than skated. It took Jon and I about 3 hours to get the crow all dry and skateable tonight. We were riding by 10:00pm and Damn was it cold out. Updates tonight are meager and I am sorry. CHeck out the new Reader's Submissions page. It has a few young hesh's throwing down sick tricks. If you have ill pictures email them to me and I'll post them if they are sick enough. Dropped off some coping pieces today at Washington Street for the cause.

12-17-02 Thanks to 82 Drew who hooked me up some o. g. pictures of back in the day. I have the ability to get shirts made for cheap, so for 10 bucks I'm making a shirt with this design on it. The pools have a few additions as well as some new sick parks stuff I rounded up. The rain sucks. Full pools. Not cool. The waves looked all stormy and shitty. I had to work all day, for maybe 3 customers. At least I have tomorrow off. SKate or DIe! Today's updates include Gene's Pool, Pico Pipe, Pomona Banks, TJ Skate park, Death Pipe, Skilly's Ramp , Cement and I changed the entire pools section so it's more reader friendly.

12-15-02 Hit up San Diego world of pools over the weekend. Thanks Josh and Kyle for the hook ups in their home turf. Updated the links. ShitBird sent me a picture of some new products. Poolrider.com looks super nice and new. I think wednesday John and I are gonna go help do some digging at Washington Street. That place is looking sick. Easily worthy of 10 days of work for one of skating. Send me pics, art, whatever and I'll post them on up.

12-12-02 Went to Sacrifice Video premiere in HB tonight. Fun times. Updated a bunch of stuff. More pool pics, and I added pics to some other pools like Chino Bowl and Jungle Bowl. Check it out. Email me pics, art, whatever. Gonna try and hit the Jade bowl tomorrow. Ill let ya guys know if I got a run in. Live to skate.

12-11-02 Well it has been two days now since the product of our efforts has been jack hammered. My friends and I decided to dig out the San Juan Pool and make it ridable once again. In the month and a half of digging we bonded as brothers/sisters like many before us. The Rebirth pool lasted for five days before the owner told us we had broke into the pool and were trespassing. So much dirt, I couldn't believe it. New paint, patched holes and shiny white coping made here new again. I suppose this is the final R.I.P. article about that pool. 12-08-02 I'm still new to the internet world so I just want to give props to all those who have emailed me about pools, put a link up on your killer sites or just got stoked looking at empty pools while at work. I work 40 hrs a week, skate as much as possible, try to play music when I can and I tweek on this site. If you do have pics of anything cool to skate and you want to see them you can email me. I never give out any directions or blow out any spots. Some spots I will only post when they are destroyed. If anyone ever sees something they don't want up, lemme know and I'll take it off. I'm down for the cause just as much as the next guy . I updated the links with some new stuff, added a pool and some new bands you should check out. The first 2 bands listed are my last 2 bands I have been in. If you wanna jam or start something in south orange county area drop me an email. I also put up a page about my homies, the D.O.D.C. 12-07-02 What a great day today for me. I want to thank John, Jade, Tim, Drew, Josh, Scott, Gyr, the rest of the DODC for the miracle they pulled off. Put up some new links and updated some skate parks. I only really put up parks I've been to, enjoyed, and actually had my camera with me to take a pic. If you cant find yours, check out Concrete disciples.com for like every park there is.The coping today was so perfect I could not explain. Dystopia and Phobia are playing tomorrow night so hopefully I'll get to see an actual good show in orange county. Its in Newport at hoge barmichaels or something like that. See ya there. Oh yeah, what the hell is this?

12-05-02 Well today was my day off and I had planned on skating this new pool by my house. There hasn't been anybody around the house all week and now that I can skate workers show up. What a bust. Oh well. A few links of mine are making it on to the web. Thanks to Juice, Concrete D, and Sacrifice for helping me out . Hopefully tonight I can make it to the Rancho Santa Margarita park meeting. I think the cement tube is so stupid.Why not just build a sick bowl and save the concrete for better stuff like a few hips in the snake run. After all I figure a snake run is supposed to look like a snake. Anyone have any sure fire ways to make an old lady let us skate her pool? email me if you have a bad ass idea.Cant Think Of Anything Good To Say. 12-02-02 Laguna Niguel skate park is getting closer to being completed. Next time I roll by I'll snap some pics so you all can see the new local cement fun. Its actually almost eight feet deep in the deep end. Can you imagine an Orange County skate park over 5 feet. Its hard for me to think about. Of course though they will charge to enter the park. How lame. A city with such wealth has to be so cheap as to make kids pay for the pad nannies to watch 'em skate. To boot the soccer field going in next to the park has lights, the park does not. When will skaters ever get anything the way it's supposed to be. I went to a ton of meetings and the design that we all voted on in the workshop looks almost nothing like the park they are making. The bowls were supposed to be round and are now square. Not a big deal, just making a point. Dana Point has a park in the works. If you live in the area hit up a town meeting and try to make it a worthy park. Maybe grindline can come to dana point. How sick would that be, with 24 hour lights while I'm dreaming here. 12-01-02 A movie is in the works by the amazing staff here at Broken Magazine. Hessian Sessions will be available soon with some sick footy of neil heddings, Daryl Delgado, some Washington Street guys, Sacrifice team members and other various rippers. I'll have a movie trailer up on the site soon.

11-30-02 Well it's official. I'm such a lagger and have wanted to start a site like this for some time. The D.O.D.C. have been hard at work giving and old friend new life. The crow bowl is still in full effect. I heard Danny Way kickflip crooked the deep end over the light. Unbelievable. Thanks to Rene for my new stick. Its pretty nice and sturdy.
